What is Dormity?

Dormity is “the” tenant-first app that facilitates payments, maintenance, and community announcements. More than this though, we want to help our tenants grow by providing rent reporting and renter’s insurance at competitive prices.

Why is Dormity different?

As Dormity’s primary focus is on the tenant, we work for you. To this end we pay ACH fees to make Dormity the only free payment solution from your desktop to your mobile device. Dormity is designed for ease of use for property managers as well by taking the maintenance calls and coordination off their table.

How much does Dormity cost?

Dormity is free for the tenants paying rent by ACH. Those who choose to use credit and debit cards will have a fee associated with the card type. Dormity offers a special bundle that includes Rent Reporting through our partners at Credhub and renter’s insurance by our partner RiskRelease. The cost of the bundle is still in development.

Rent Reporting

Rent reporting is vital to growing your credit score; it is your biggest monthly expense, so make it work for you. This leads to better interest rates which means more money in the pocket.

Renter’s Insurance

Anything can go wrong at any time. Insurance protects your personal belongings in case of an emergency. Insurance is also required by many properties now, so we try to find you the best deals.

Maintenance Management

Instead of going back and forth with you leasing agent on repairs, you simply navigate to the “Maintenance” tab on your page and open a claim. All claims are pooled to verified experts who can give you estimates and handle your problem with haste.

Community Board

This board has two features; announcements and events. At this time, only leasing agents can post to the board.

What do I do if my payment is not accepted?

You can reach out to your property manager, your bank, or Dormity. Together, we will find a solution.

How do I get my referral bonus?

Simple! Just have them sign up for the Dormity bundle using your referral code and after the first time they use it, you will see the 5-dollar reduction on your bundle payment.
